INFOS : Number Nine is a Multimedia label based in France. Releases includes typographies, recordings, movies, books, etc.
After a bunch or 12 inches during the early nineties' techno-house explosion, it focused on graphic design and conceptual Typography. It is also the power source for the Point Central / TypeIndex.org projects. Our objective is to be a direct-to-user label, using new technologies to keep tuned with our friends and customers.
Alongside with the new releases, we're currently remastering all previous releases, re-recording tracks and redesigning typefaces from scratch, and converting them to the High-Q MP3 and OpenType (cross-platform format).
SUBMISSIONS : same wavelength ? Wether for music, type or anything creative, we're always looking for new collaborations, connections and for exchanging ideas. So feel free to contact us using n9 at chifflot dot net. We give a try on every type submitted, we listen to EVERY demo sent, and we give feedback to all ;-)

FORMAT : All fonts available are sold or distributed as OpenType. This format is usable either for Macintosh (Mac OSX and later) and PC (Windows 98 and later). Please take some few seconds to read The READ-ME files included in each release : It answers simply most questions you might have. All Records are provided as High-Quality MP3 (192kbps Stereo) files for digital download orders, or regular Audio CD (AIFF) for CD orders.

As a group of free-minded individuals, we keep the price EXTREMELY LOW compared to those of corporate bastards : we want everybody to enjoy them.
